Fiber-Sil® | Special HT Staple Fiber Textile Products

The base material of TESPE FIBER-SIL Textile Products consists of a Special Staple Fibre Pre-Yarns (belCoTex®: chemical modified silicic acid) with and high content of SiO2 (>94 %).
FIBER-SIL Textile Products have an high temperature resistance (1100°C) and, becouse of the staple-fibre structure, they have a low density and a very good thermal insulating properties.
Due to their specific peculiarities - non-respirable 9 micron fibres, no skin irritation, no formation of ά-cristobalite (at 1000°C, 24 h) - FIBER-SIL Textile Products can be well considered in order to replace the Ceramic Fiber Textile Products in most of their applications.
FIBER-SIL Textile Products do not contain any Ceramic Fiber nor Asbestos Fiber.
