Lagging Cordes They consist a core of fibres or blanket strips inside (ceramic, silca, glass) and braided outside by an open or closed mesh made of different kind of yarns. They are softer and lighter and therefore much less expensive then comparable braided packings. In order to increase the mechanical resistence, the hardness and the density of the ropes, two or more outside braidings can be done. Applications: Thermal insulating and heat protection of tubes. Sealing joints of ovens and boilers doors, furnace oven trolleys, industrial containers, expansion joints. Range:Open Mesh: round size, diameters from 12 mm to 100mm Close Mesh:round,square, rectangular sizes from 12 to 100 mm. Braided Packing They are produced by braiding the yarns on a compact core of twisted or braided yarns. These packings are therefore compact, solid, flexible, with high mechanical resistence and sealing joints properties. In order to increase the mechanical resistance, the hardness and the density of the ropes, two or more outside braidings can be done. Application: Sealing joints of ovens and boilers doors, stove, fireplaces, fireplaces, furnace oven trolleys, industrial containers, expansion joints. Range: Round, square, rectangular sizes from 3 mm to 10mm. |
