GLASS FIBER TEXTILES WITH SILICONE
Extra-tex is the range of Glass Fiber Textiles with Silicone, mainly used for the protection of pipes and cables from high temperatures, sparks and molten metal splashes.
EXTRA-TEX TESPE products are made thanks to a special process by which Glass Fiber Textile Products are coupled to a high thickness of EXTRASIL HTR, Red Gloss Silicone (about 1.5 mm) x high temperature, which covers totally the surface, preventing, inter alia, the dispersion of glass fibers during manipulation by operators.
EXTRA-TEX products are resistant to high temperatures (260°C continuous operation), and have high resistance to sparks, welding and melting slags and molten metal drops.
Furthermore, thanks to the silicone coating, they are waterproof, have good abrasion resistance and good resistance to oils, hydraulic fluids, lubricants, acids and chemicals.
