TWISTED ROPES
TWISTED ROPES AND OVER-BRAIDED ROPES
Tespe Srl produces Twisted Ropes and Over-Braided Ropes in various materials: glass fiber, silica, ceramic fiber and many other materials specific for different types of use and temperatures. Our thermal insulation Ropes are designed to guarantee perfect insulation from high temperatures and a high degree of protection against heat.
Twisted Ropes Twisted Ropes are extremely flexible and soft insulating cords made by twisting multiple individual yarns together or, for big dimensions, on a core of opposed torsion rope .A Cable Rope, more compact and resistant, can also be made by twisting together three or more single ropes.
For special uses, these ropes can be impregnated with Graphite, Vermiculite and PTFE.
Uses:Thermal insulation and heat protection of pipes and cables - Seals of oven doors - Couplings - Seals.
Range: Diameters from 3 mm to 50 mm.
This external braiding gives the Ropes greater dimensional stability and limits their fraying to the cut.
For special uses, twisted filaments can be impregnated with Graphite, Vermiculite and PTFE.
Uses: Door and joint seals - Sealing between sheets - Insulation
Range: Diameters from 3 mm to 50 mm.
