TEXTILE PRODUCTS IN SILICA FIBER

Our Textile Products in Silica Fiber (Silex) FIBERS-SIL, are extremely heat insulating and resistant to high temperatures and ideal for thermal insulation industrial applications.

The base material of Tespe FIBER-SIL® Textile Products consists of Special Staple Fiber Pre-Yarns (belCoTex®: chemical modified silicic acid) with high content of SiO2 (>94 %).
FIBER-SIL® Textile Products have a high temperature resistance (1100°C) and, because of the staple-fiber structure, they have a low density and very good thermal insulating properties.
Due to their specific peculiarities - non-respirable 9 micron fibers, no skin irritation, no formation of ά-cristobalite (at 1000°C, 24 h) - FIBER-SIL® Textile Products can be well considered in order to replace the Ceramic Fiber Textile Products in most of their applications.
FIBER-SIL Textile Products contain neither Ceramic Fiber nor Asbestos Fiber.
