BRAIDED PACKINGS
INSULATING BRAIDED PACKINGS FOR GASKETS
The Insulating Braided Packings for Gaskets, are compact and resistant ropes, which are made in various sizes and sections and used as gaskets for doors of ovens, boilers and stoves.
They are produced by braiding the yarns on a compact core of twisted or braided yarns. These packings are therefore compact, solid, flexible, with high mechanical resistance and sealing joint properties. In order to increase the mechanical resistance, the hardness and the density of the ropes, two or more outside braids can be made.
For special purposes any braided packing can be impregnated with graphite, PTFE, lubricant, or rubberized, siliconized, and covered by a steel net or braid (our type Packinox ).
For dynamic applications we advise to use different kinds of diagonal braided packing – see our type of DYNAPACK®.
Applications: Sealing joints of ovens and boiler doors, stove, fireplaces, fireplaces, furnace oven trolleys, industrial containers, expansion joints.
