TAPES
TAPES FOR THERMAL INSULATION
Tespe produces Woven Tapes and Knitted Tapes for Thermal Insulation and heat protection of cables and pipes, and for high temperature seals.
Webbing TapesThey are produced on special textile machines in order to obtain a perfect selvage on both sides and constant size. They are available in different kinds of weaving (flat, diagonal, multilayer, tubular textures) and they can also be sewed in multi-layers.
For special purposes, they can be treated with graphite, PTFE, starched, siliconized, rubberized, aluminized, caramelized…
- Self-Adhesive Tapes: In order to make easier their fitting, they can be joined with a self-adhesive strip of the same width.
- Ladder Tapes: During the weaving, some yarns of warp can be eliminated in order to leave a leak in the center of the tape (a ladder) making it easier to fit when putting either bolts or screws.
- Tubular Sleeves: By a particular kind of double weaving, we can produce a flat non-elastic tubular sleeve in different diameters and thicknesses.
- Dielectrical Tapes: They are characterized by thinness (0,5 mm max). Used for dielectric al and thermal insulation.
Applications: Thermal insulation and heat protection of pipes, flexible tubes, electrical cables, plants. Sealing joints of ovens and boiler doors, stoves, fireplaces, expansion joints.
Range: Standard length from 10 to 320 mm; thickness up to 10mm.
For special applications, all the tapes can be treated with graphite, with PTFE, with black finishing, with silicone, coupled with aluminium, caramelized or can undergo other specific processing upon request. Range of Selvedge Tapes
